The Flyers face the Rangers in the last game of the regular reason under familiar circumstances. The Flyers need a win to clinch a playoff spot, but they need to beat the Rangers to make it happen. With flashbacks to the 2010 season fresh in our brains, its time to make the playoffs yet again.

First period: The Flyers immediately applied pressure on the Rangers as all four lines had early chances on Lundqvist. The Flyers pressure came to a head when Provorov scored on the delayed penalty. While the Rangers had a few chances, the Flyers defense was strong and Elliott made seven saves to keep the lead as the period ended.

Second period: The Flyers kept the pressure on the Rangers throughout the second period. CLAUDE GIROUX SCORED HIS 100TH POINT WITH A POWERPLAY GOAL! Raffl and Giroux would score six seconds apart to give the Flyers a four-goal lead heading into the third period.
