The Flyers head to Columbus after a wild win over the Panthers just two days ago.

First period: The period opened with David Savard catching the post just a few seconds in but the Flyers weren’t shaken as Konecny deflected a puck through Bobrovsky’s legs for his first goal of the season, and the first time the Flyers scored first in a game this season. Duclair received the puck from Ryan Murray for a breakaway but he fell over trying to deke Hagg, but he got up and did a spin-o-rama to beat Pickard. Couturier would break the tie late in the period as he harmlessly threw a puck in on Bobrovsky who just missed it with his glove in one of the lighter goals in recent memory.

Second period: The second period was all Columbus as the Flyers played some sloppy hockey throughout. Atkinson would tie the game just 1:32 into the period as he tipped home a Panarin pass. the duo of Atkinson and Panarin would strike again as Atkinson turned Hagg inside out with his puckhandling and beat the out-of-position Pickard. Foligno poured on the offense as his unblocked point shot found its way past Pickard.

Third period: The Blue Jackets started the period slow, and the Flyers initially capitalized on it thanks to a Lindblom wraparound. That would be the end of the Flyers momentum though. Folin fell down and turned the puck over which lead to a Josh Anderson goal. as the game was closing out, Milano scored on a wraparound of his own as the Flyers get crushed by the Blue Jackets 6-3.

Takeaways: just another embarrassing loss, which is quickly becoming the theme of the season. Flyers played sloppy hockey and with their weak goaltending and defense, they paid dearly for it.
